My sister mentioned to me that she saw a box of gluten free cones at Bi-Rite Creamery here in San Francisco. At the time they weren’t promoting it at all.
I’ll try to force myself to have some of their excellent ice cream tomorrow to verify.. it’ll be hard, I know but these are the sacrifices I’m willing to make for this site :p
If you haven’t heard of Bi-Rite Creamery then you must live outside of San Francisco. It is a shop started by the local Bi-Rite Market that makes and sells ice cream and assorted treats. It is really good. Reeeeeaaaaaallly good. They have some great and unique flavors like creme fraiche, ginger, pumpkin, salted caramel and others that I can’t remember.
We walked by it tonight on the way home after the gluten free mac and cheese and burgers dinner and there was still a line out front. And this was at 9:30pm and 40F. That speaks volumes.
